Ingratitude towards those who give what they have. I contacted the shelter saying I had 24l in bottles to donate to quench the dogs' thirst in the 40 degree heat. I was contacted almost a week later by a certain Susanna who first made an appointment to collect the donation and then didn't show up, calling me back. I asked her to show up at 10am the next day and she showed up at 9.30am, at my home, ringing the intercom twice! Other people who have nothing to do with it open the gate for her and I find her in the living room, without my authorization, standing irritably and then introducing herself saying she's from the shelter! I, in summer pajamas, an invalid, who wasn't even expecting her, and certainly not in my living room, go to get the cases of water and place them in front of her. She looks at me and with arrogance and arrogance tells me that they accept donations for dogs, such as blankets and I don't know what else. I replied that in the email I had specified that it was water. Can they read? She takes the boxes and ONLY after a few seconds remembers to say thank you. No thank you note, nothing. Just pure rudeness, arrogance and arrogance, moreover towards a person who is disabled and has nothing but still wanted to donate to help dogs dying of heart attacks in the current temperatures. I hope, even if I don't think so at this point, that my crates will be used to quench and refresh dogs with quality water and not tap water and that they won't fall into the wrong hands. As they say, "no good deed goes unpunished." My thoughts are only with the dogs.

I had to go... Reluctantly, given what I saw years ago... Instead I found cleanliness, order, very kind staff, and finally, few dogs... Thank you, it's the first time I haven't left feeling distressed.

Bad experience, having consulted the timetables on the web, after having traveled 60 km I arrived and found it closed, not only that, an hour a day is dedicated to adoptions and only by appointment, however this is only written on a sign on the gate, nowhere on the web, 120 km done for nothing, I won't go back 👎 …

It is certainly not a place of joy, on the contrary, but it is full of furry friends waiting for a real home, who need affection and a family who knows how to love them. Only after having adopted them will we be able to talk about happiness and joy, as only a dog or a cat can give.

The staff can be seen to care about the animals present and that they are treated well (as far as possible in cages). It is clear that they love animals, but not so much people, in fact they are too suspicious. I'll tell you about my experience: and if anyone has any advice to give me to resolve the issue it is welcome: It all started from a day when my boyfriend and I went to visit the dogs, it was late and there were few staff, so they let us wander around freely and we fell in love with two dogs in particular, which they then explained to us. be a bit problematic, because one was very suspicious and fearful and the other was excessively aggressive and dangerous, so much so that they told us not to get close (only later did they tell us only towards small animals), that it was not possible to get to know them until ALL the volunteers trusted us, they would then introduce us to the kennel behaviourist and only after she gave the ok then MAYBE they would allow us to get close to the two dogs in question. This left us very stunned because that first day those two little dogs were the only ones who didn't bark, hide and approach us making a lot of fun. This is why we don't understand why there are all these problems. We offered to go there initially to take them out for a walk and have the opportunity to get to know them and then choose which one we were actually able to manage, although according to our impressions both would have been adequate (the second one possibly taking her out with a muzzle to prevent her from possibly chasing some small creature and taking her to the behaviorist together to learn how to manage any misunderstandings, being a very strong Cane Corso, however the little boy is simply shy and would need to go out a bit to get used to people ). They even told us that another reason why not to take them is that they are very old, but they are not even 10 years old combined (4 and 5 years). They gave us the impression that they wanted to keep them locked up. I understand that we are students and therefore there may be some fears regarding the funds or the apartment, but once we have done the math and asked the owners for permission, I don't see where the problem is. Afterwards we tried to go there and insist, but they made us walk other dogs of their choice and never once did they tell us when we could talk to this fateful behaviorist, so much so that they very demoralized us in going there to them, because they took advantage of our time a little too much. Staying all afternoon taking other dogs out, after having traveled all that way to reach the kennel, is different from having one at home and taking it for walks spread out throughout the day. It breaks my heart to be forced not to even go near the cages, when the first time we were more inside than outside and nothing bad happened to us.

I had the opportunity to see the cattery inside, they are clean and tidy and very kind to the animals. I saw the kennel from the outside. I liked it. The dogs are well looked after in kennels and catteries. I saw happy animals

This kennel has spacious boxes, with the possibility of taking refuge in an area inside it for shelter. The dogs go out into green spaces and are accompanied by volunteers outside the kennel for walks. A huge flaw is the lack of a washing machine and dryer which forces dozens of dirty clothes to be thrown in the waste.

We would like to give 18 stars... even more... we wandered around other kennels looking for a dog friend who would choose us for the rest of his life... I can sign that among those seen, here they know how to treat an animal, and the preparation and knowledge of their guests is unparalleled... we perceived the care for the animal beyond any financial support... the less fortunate or now elderly dogs treated like the best guests... thanks guys for what you do, unfortunately for us none of your guests were able to choose us because we have too many things to fit in... but we really appreciated what you did... Thank you Elena and good work (You really do too well!!!)
